The Minei Dojo & The Tonokura dojo Kids' Exchange Championship
The kids' exchange karate-kata championship between the Minei dojo & the Tonokura dojo was held on Dec the 20th at Tonokuracho town hall in Tonokura Shuri Naha-city.It done to enhance friendship between kids from two dojos and to develop the katas of students.After the match, we had a BBQ, which was a whole lot of fun.嶺井道場と首里当蔵道場との児童交流空手大会が首里当蔵町の公民館で１２月20日（日）に開かれました。大会の後はバーベキューがありました。これからも様々なイベントを開いて協会を盛り上げていければと思います。
The OGKK year-end party of '09 沖縄剛柔流空手道協会忘年会 その1
On the Dec 5th the year-end party was held at Naha Central Hotel in Naha-city.
Honorary President Iha Koshin sensei, President Hichiya Yoshio sensei and other grand masters and students attended it.
From the Minei Dojo, Minei Nanko-sensei and 8 students were there.
We had a very good time looking back at what happened this year especially the 2 summer karate championships.
沖縄剛柔流空手道協会の忘年会が１２月５日那覇市内の那覇セントラルホテルで開かれました。
伊波名誉会長、比知屋会長他多数の先生方や門下生が参加しました。
嶺井道場からも南康先生はじめ門下生が多数出席しました。
忘年会では功労賞等の表彰や伊波名誉会長への空手着の贈呈が行われました。

聞得大君（チフィヂン）エキストラ出演 ｈ
2009年12月15日（日）琉球古典音楽野村流松村統絃会
創立100周年記念公演の創作劇の「聞得大君（チフィヂン）～御新下り～」にエキストラとして出演してきました。せりふは一言でした！
で、写真は嶺井道場のタツローと僕の出演前のメイクアップ直後の写真（上）と出番直前の「津波古棒術保存会」のメンバーとの写真（下）です。
タツローと僕が所属する津波古棒術保存会は統絃会会長山城柳太郎氏と宮城竹茂氏には普段からとてもお世話になっており、その恩返しとして出演しました。

Goyukai on Nov 11月剛友会
On Nov the 20th, Goyukai(剛友会）was held beginning at 9:30pm after Keiko(training).
Goyukai is a little bit of society held once a month on the third Friday every month.
Schedules of OGKK or those of Minei dojo will be informed among Minei sensei and his students out there.
So this time the date of grading and the year end party of OGKK were informed. Both are supposed to be held on Dec the 5th.

11月の剛友会が20に開かれました。剛友会とは、嶺井先生とその門下生集い、剛柔流協会からの情報や嶺井道場の行事予定等が報告されます。また、様々な協議事項が話される場です。
空手のことだけではなく、国内外の政治経済や地域の問題を浅～く話す場としても活用されています。
今回は協会の昇段審査と忘年会の日程が報告されました。１２月５日のようです。

OGKK 40th aniversary Exchange Reception
After the Demonstrations at the National theater of Okinawa, the exchange reception was held.
Friendship was deepened among participants from Okinawa, the mainland of Japan and overseas and the others contributing to OGKK and the success for each individual involed were wished!
協会40周年記念演武大会のあと、国立劇場沖縄の近くで交流会が開かれました。沖縄、本土、海外の先生や門下生が交流を深めました。各国からも歌や踊りの余興が披露され大変盛り上がりました。
そして、嶺井道場もこのような場では絶対になくてはならない南康先生の「ちんぬくじゅーしー」や「学校生」も披露され、会場を盛り上げていました！

The OGKK DEMONSTRATIONS held on Aug 23rd No1
The OGKK Recital held on Aug 23rd at the National Theater Okinawa in Urasoe city celebrating the 40th anniversary since OGKK's foundation and in memory of the Grand master Miyazato Eiichi sensei.
All the Gojuryu dojos gathered and each dojo demonstrated one of karas.
High ranked masters also did a kata. And honorary president Iha Koshin sensei and president Hichiya Yoshio demonstrated showed a kata as well,which is very rare. Iha sensei and Hichiya sensei did sitting tensho and tensho respectively.Both were so splendid and respectful that all practitioners became very quiet and were staring at them.
As for us the Minei dojo students, we adult did Shisochin with some other dojos and boys & girls Gekisaiichi.

が浦添市の国立劇場おきなわで8月23日に開催されました。
8月21日と22日の講習会後ということで多少の疲れもあったかもしれませんが、県内、国内及び海外の稽古生が堂々と演武を披露してくれました。この大会では、協会三役の先生方も方を披露してくださいました。特に伊波康進名誉会長の座位の転掌はめったに拝見できることのない貴重なものでした。
さて、嶺井道場の門下生は大人は四向戦、子供は撃砕一と撃砕二を演武しました。また、奥間さんもプログラム後半で四向戦の模範演武をしてくださいました。

Okinawa Goju Ryu Kyokai seminar was held on Aug 21st and Aug 22nd at Matsushima Elementary school's gymnasium in Naha city. It was so hot and humid some overseas practioners that were not used to hot weather must have felt dizzy.
On both days, the seminar started at 9:00a.m. with warm-up exercises. I attended it on the first day. The seminar was conducted mainly by Onaga sensei. It began with the warm-up exercises too and lasted until 10:30 a.m. And we had a 10 minute break. Sports drinks were prepared in the left corner and practioners rushed to it to get one and gulped down it.
Sanchin and Tensho training came after the warm-up exercises. It was continued until 12:00p.m. There was a 2hour break for lunch and a rest.
The seminar was began again at 2:00p.m with Gekisaiichi. Lesson on every Kara from Gekisaiichi to Seipai was given with demos of masters' kata.
8月21日、22日の両日、沖縄剛柔流空手道協会技術講習会が那覇市の松島小学校体育館で開かれました。沖縄県内は勿論のこと、本土や海外からも多数参加されていました。中には8月14日～16日の世界大会から沖縄に滞在してこのセミナーに参加した猛者もいました。
著者は、初日のみ参加しました。当日は物凄く蒸し暑く、沖縄の気候になれない海外の門下生はややバテ気味ではなかったでしょうか。私も稽古中水分がほしくてたまらないというのが本音でした。でも、指導してくださった先生方はこの暑さよりも更に熱く指導されていました。
セミナーは9時に始まり12時から2時間のお昼休憩を挟み、16時まで続きました。
